A clear complexion the natural way
Scarring and excess pigmentation affect the lives of thousands of people in the UK. These distressing conditions can have a negative effect on the way people feel about themselves and cause worry about how they are perceived by the outside world.
There is now a revolutionary solution and it is quick, painless and proven to be extremely effective. The PIXEL Laser, as seen on Channel 4’s Embarrassing Bodies, uses the very latest light technology to reduce the appearance of scars and deep pigmentation. As well as producing stunning results, this non-invasive procedure has none of the downtime and discomfort associated with other resurfacing lasers. Unlike other similar treatment it is also suitable for all skin types, including dark skin.

What is the PIXEL Laser?
The PIXEL Laser is a high-energy beam of light that can be directed into certain areas or tissues within the skin.
It creates tiny ablative zones, removing the epidermis and upper dermis and triggering the body’s natural healing process. This stimulates the growth of new, healthy skin tissue.
Clinical and research studies have proved that PIXEL Laser treatments can significantly improve skin texture, reduce roughness and pore size, reduce acne scarring and reduce some excessive skin pigmentation.
How does the treatment work?
The practitioner will apply a small hand piece to your skin which flashes a light on the areas to be treated. Unlike other laser treatments where the whole of the selected target area is damaged, the PIXEL Laser only treats small areas, leaving surrounding tissue untouched and intact. These large unaffected areas act as a reservoir for more effective and rapid tissue healing and collagen production.
The result is new, smoother tissue in place of skin imperfections.
Which areas can be treated?
The PIXEL Laser works on any area of skin that needs treatment.
Does the treatment hurt?
There is minimal or no pain and most people find that they can return to work immediately after treatment.
Is it safe?
Yes, in the hands of experienced medical practitioners. At The Private Clinic we are highly experienced in the use of the Pixel Laser and also in the treatment of complex skin types.
How long does the treatment take?
Depending on the extent of the area to be treated, each session can take from a few minutes to half an hour.
How many treatments will I need?
Depending upon the severity and extent of the skin problem that is treated, a course of three to five treatments every three to four weeks is normally recommended.
How soon will I see results?
You will start seeing some results after the first session – however, the final results will be visible at the end of the course.
Are there any side effects?
Usually healing is quick with minimal to no downtime. For several hours afterwards the skin will feel tight and have the appearance of a “sunburned” look. The skin may continue to look “pinkish” for five to seven days and any swelling, which should be minimal, usually disappears after one to three days. As the skin heals itself, you will find mild to moderate skin flaking, which may last for up to two weeks.
Is there any downtime?
No, you will be able to resume normal activities immediately.
How much does it cost?
PIXEL treatments start from £400. However, the exact price can only be confirmed after your free consultation with our medical team.
Our mission is to offer the most advanced treatments at the most competitive prices – we aim to deliver a Harley Street service at High Street prices.

As well as being qualified to administer treatments, they are also able to advise on the best course of treatment for you.
