How does it work?
As we age our collagen production slows down, our skin begins to show signs of ageing, skin elasticity is lost and contours appear less defined. Titan™ uses heat to stimulate collagen production in the dermis (lower layers of the skin).
The infrared light penetrates the deep, inner layers of the skin, heating existing collagen and subsequently causing it to reduce and firm up. This reduction promotes long-term collagen production, which lifts the targeted areas and gives the patient a smoother, more toned appearance. The cooling attachment continuously cools the surface skin in order to protect the skin’s epidermal surface and prevent any heat-related damage.
After the procedure, new collagen growth results in further tightening with the improvement of lax skin, folds and lines. Over a few months the skin will appear plumper with improved firmness and elasticity.
Why Titan™ over Thermage?
Titan™ mainly uses Heat (Infra-red rays) to stimulate collagen production whereas Thermage uses Radio Frequency waves. It is believed using heat is safer as it targets the water under the dermis and not the fatty tissue so there is no danger in dimpling.
Titan is also considerably less painful than Thermage and comes at a more affordable price. Patient satisfaction for Titan is greater.
Which areas can be treated?
Titan skin rejuvenation can treat lax skin on areas of the body including abdomen, underarms, arms, buttocks, breast and thighs and tighten the cheeks, jowls, neck and forehead.
How many sessions will I need?
It is recommended to take a course of 3 treatments over 3 months followed by maintenance treatments between 18 months to 2 years.
Your first treatment will take about 1 hour; further treatments will take 40 mins.
When will I see results?
Patients can expect visible improvement within the first three weeks after treatment. Because the treatment promotes collagen production, results may continue to improve for up to six months.
However on some clients results may seem slower as your body needs 6 months to begin to show improved signs.

How long will the effects last for?
Titan can not stop the ageing process but it can effectively ‘put the clock back’ to how your skin used to look. Experts have so far demonstrated that the benefits of Titan lifting can be seen for one to two years after treatment. Further treatments can be given if desired.
Is there any downtime?
There is no downtime and you can return to your daily routine immediately post treatment.
Immediately following the treatment you may notice some redness and mild swelling in the treated area. Both should go within a few hours.
How much does it cost?
Prices start at £550 for a full face, but vary depending on the area treated. Usually a course of 3 is recommended.
