THE LOWDOWN: In a bid to look my best this summer I committed to six session of Laser Hair removal. My bikini line, lower legs and underarms were all in line for the blitz! The treatment works by heating, and eventually destroying, the hair follicles using light energy to prevent the hair from growing back. The experts recommend six sessions plus an annual top-up for permanent results. Admittedly, it’s not painless (it’s probably on par with waxing) but it’s over quickly and the results are impressive. The cost is high, but you’ll save in the long-run-no more razors, shaving cream or waxing appointments!
THE VERDICT: I’ve got one session to go, but it’s already looking good. Smooth, fuzz-free skin for summer? Tick!
