How would I look with a nose job?

RHINOPLASTY NOSE JOB

The nose is known as the ‘crown of the face’ it has the power to totally transform your look and has become a hot topic with those in the spotlight more open to discuss their procedures and enhancements: a tearful Ferne McCann on This Morning springs to mind. Ashley Tisdale was also refreshingly candid about getting a rhinoplasty for health reasons back in 2007.
A nose job, medically termed a ‘rhinoplasty’, is a surgical procedure which involves reshaping of some of or the entire nose. It can be performed to improve the aesthetic appearance or for medical reasons, to enhance breathing for example.
At The Private Clinic we champion empowering patients with information to make the best decision for themselves in a caring state of the art medical environment. With all of our procedures it is helpful for the surgeon to see some pictures of what you like and what you don’t in terms of your procedure. But it is important to keep in mind that you must have realistic and healthy expectations. Are you looking to improve your appearance or are you imitating a celebrity? If it’s the latter then you are unlikely to be satisfied with your result.
Find a good surgeon
The first thing you will need to do is find a surgeon you are comfortable with, research their work online or ask them to see some before and after pictures, keeping in mind that your results will not be exactly the same but you will get a good idea of what they are capable of. You can also log onto forum sites like RealSelf to take a look at reviews and pictures from their patients. Do not be afraid to ask for credentials from the surgeon, they should be clearly stated on their respective websites. You want to find a surgeon who is registered with official bodies the most important being: BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons), BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons) and the GMC (UK General Medical Council)
Speak your mind
Once you have found your surgeon and clinic the next step to ensuring you achieve a superb result is communicating with the surgeon. Voice your preferences and be as specific as you can. Communication is very important in all surgeries but with a nose job it really is everything as all changes to the nose no matter how small, will affect your overall facial features.
Be very cautious with photoshop or ‘plastic surgery’ apps; digital editing of pictures can be harmless fun and on occasion can give you a good idea of what you can expect to look like after surgery but they do not always account for the actual anatomy of the face and the physicality of the operation. For example some people come to us wanting an impossibly thin bridge not considering their nasal passages for breathing. Your health should be your number one priority as it is for us here at The Private Clinic.
