My doctor asked me what I wanted to achieve, and he explained how the procedure is performed.

Once I’d decided to go for it, I didn’t waste much time. The whole thing was done under local anaesthetic. A small incision was made just above my nipple, and then a metal rod was inserted to break up the fat with ultrasound.

I couldn’t feel a thing, and I was even brave enough to glance down. Next, the melted fat was sucked out, and within an hour it was done. I had a small plaster, and no stitches. In fact, I felt so good that I was able to drive home afterwards.
