Thread Veins – Nicki Chapman

English television, talent show judge, and radio presenter Nicki Chapman was feeling unhappy with the appearance of spider veins on her legs.

After a recommendation from Rosie Green, Nicki decided to visit The Private Clinic in Harley Street to see if anything could be done about them.

Mr Constantinos Kyriakides confirmed that it was spider veins that Nicki was suffering from and that a simple treatment of sclerotherapy would be able to reduce their appearance.

Sclerotherapy for thread veins, also known as micro sclerotherapy is a minimally-invasive treatment that works through the injection of a liquid sclerosing agent into the problem vein which causes damage and makes the spider veins collapse.

Nicki attended our London Fitzroy Hospital to have her thread vein treatment, however, this treatment is more commonly performed in the clinic where your consultation would have taken place.

Nicki went on to have three Microsclerotherapy treatments which is common for thread vein patients.

Following the treatments, Nicki reported that she was pain-free throughout all her treatments and felt very reassured and safe throughout them.
