The snoring chin strap wraps over the head of the snorer and supports the chin, essentially by keeping the mouth closed during sleep. But they may give the snorer some difficulty breathing through their mouth, especially if the snorer has a cold or blocked nose so we would advise to take caution when using and discontinue if no real improvement is noticed.
Snoring General Procedure
Snoring mouthpieces are safe, especially if they have been specifically for you by a dentist for example so that they will fit better to the teeth.
Anti snoring sleep sprays are not guaranteed to work and often only work for the initial 30 minutes after spraying.
Overall, anti sleep snoring sprays will not eliminate snoring, and in cases where your snoring is caused by sleep apnoea, relying on this as a treatment could be unsafe.
Snoring is not a sign of cancer, but its main complication, the Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome may lead to some cancers.
There is three times more of a risk of developing cancer, compared to patients without snoring and sleep apnea.
The most frequent cancers were prostate cancer (14,7%), blood cancers (12,8%), colorectal cancer(9%) and breast cancer (8, 3%) on a recent scientific article.
