The treatment: Titan is a non-surgical skin tightening treatment. An infrared light heats the dermis (the layer of skin below the surface), causing collagen to contract. What does Titan involve?
The infrared light penetrates the dermis and heats up the existing collagen. This causes it to reduce and firm up, which in turn promotes long-term collagen production. New collagen growth results in an overall tightening of the skin, reducing the appearance of folds and lines.
Does the treatment hurt?
Some patients experience minor discomfort, however, Titan is considerably less painful than previous generations of this type of treatment. A special attachment continuously cools the surface of the skin, protecting the outer layer and preventing heat-related damage.
How long does treatment take?
Your first treatment will take about an hour and further treatments will take 40 minutes.
How soon will I see results?
Most clients will see visible improvements about three weeks after the first treatment. However it really depends on how long it takes your body to start producing new collagen – it can take up to six months in some clients.
How long will the results last?
The benefits of Titan lifting can be seen for up to two years after treatment. You can then come back to us for more treatment.
Are there any side effects?
Immediately following the treatment you may notice some redness and mild swelling. However, this is nothing to worry about and both should disappear within a couple of hours.
