How does it work?
The practitioner guides the Pearl laser over the skin, gently removing the top layer of the epidermis and heating a layer of tissue below it. The treatment feels like a series of brief pinches and takes approximately 20 minutes for a full face.
Which areas can be treated?
Pearl will smooth the skin’s texture, as well as soften fine lines and wrinkles, on the face, neck, upper chest and hands.
Is it painful?
On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 representing pain, most people report the treatment feeling like a 2 or 3. An anesthetic cream will be applied over the skin before beginning the treatment.
Are there any side effects?
After treatment, the skin will look like it is sunburned. The skin will need to be kept moist for 3-4 days. You are free to wear make-up starting on day 3.
When will I see results?
After 3-4 days, the top layer of skin peels off revealing new, healthy, vibrant skin underneath.
How many session will I need?
Most patients experience excellent results after just one treatment.

If Pearl is applied to the whole face to even skin tone and smooth lines, the deeper wrinkles and scars are specifically targeted with a different device called Pearl Fractional.
Pearl Fractional is a laser which penetrates deeper into the skin hence it is ideal to target deeper wrinkles and those areas of the face requiring more attention.
Patients only require a single treatment and downtime is typically between 1 week and 10 days.
Depending on your skin, we might recommend a combination of the two treatments: Pearl to improve the texture of whole face and get rid of superficial lines and sun spot, followed by Pearl Fractional only to go over the deeper wrinkles. The combination treatment is called Pearl Fusion and will be performed in the same session.
How much does it cost?
A full face with Pearl will cost £1200. This is considerably less than Co2 and Fraxel lasers.
