Last week I was lucky enough to attend the premiere of Die Another Day at the Royal Albert Hall and nearly died of excitement!

I always try to act cool when it comes to star-spotting, but that turned to mush when I spotted Madonna, HM The Queen, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan all in the same room as me!

It was far too much for me to bear and I was on the phone to my mum quicker than you could say ‘shaken, not stirred’, blabbering on about my encounter with the Material Girl. My cool, non-plussed façade dissolved like an ice lolly in a heatwave as it occurred to me that I was in the company of Hollywood royalty.

I have to say that when I spotted Halle Berry I was almost eaten up with jealousy, not just because she gets to smooch with Pierce in the name of work, but because she has the most flawless complexion I have ever seen. The girl does not need a scrap of make-up!
