Our Treatments
The LightSheer
diode laser system was developed from years of research at the Wellman Laboratories of
Photomedicine, one of the world's most respected medical research institutions. The laser
parameters were carefully defined to inhibit the regrowth of the hair by studying the
anatomy of the hair follicle and precisely matching the laser output to the size, depth
and location of hair follicles.
The Lightsheer diode laser can in a few minutes treat an area that would take over an hour
with electrolysis. The ChillTip cooling lens provides thermal protection for the
epidermis, allowing higher doses of laser energy to safely and effectively target unwanted
hair follicles.
The CoolGlide system uses the latest technology in laser
hair removal to rapidly treat large areas without the limitations of older technologies.
It is suitable for most skin types and tones, including dark and tanned patients. Its
unique design, longer wavelength and innovative cooling design, allow extremely effective,
safe and permanent results.
Unlike other systems, the CoolGlide can treat the fine hair on a woman’s upper lip
just as easily and effectively as the coarse hair n a man’s back.
The cooled handpiece increases patient comfort and minimizes the adverse skin reaction
commonly seen with other treatments.
How many treatments do I need?
Most areas require a course of 6 treatments.
However the number of treatments required depends on multiple factors – hair
thickness, the area treated and your hair’s growth cycle.
